We are Ó Cualann
We have created a model to build truly affordable housing that can be scaled and replicated across the country
We are a not-for-profit Approved Housing Body with charitable status
We believe our homes should be both affordable to buy and to run
All our communities have sustainability partnerships in place
OUR MODEL
Our mission it to deliver affordable housing in mixed-income, fully- integrated, co-operative and sustainable communities.
In order to achieve this we have developed the Ó Cualann model, which is based around 3 core strands.
Our model can be replicated and scaled across the country. We will work with local authorities and like-minded groups to change the way housing is delivered in Ireland.
You can find out more about our model below.
Proudly working with the support
of our partners
Housing bodies like ourselves can play an important role in helping to alleviate the housing crisis, but we can’t do it on our own. Read about our partnership with PTSB and how it has helped us achieve our mission over the past 3 years
GETTING INVOLVED
We work with local authorities, Approved Housing Bodies, state agencies, community-led housing groups and our partners to provide permanently affordable homes. We build mixed income and mixed tenure sustainable communities throughout Ireland, for those people who are unable to buy or rent appropriate accommodation on the open market.
